Our Purpose<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To\n lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To ground \nbelievers in the Bible for victorious living. To teach Christians to \nevangelize and disciple others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Passion<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…to\n proclaim the excellence of Him who has called you out of darkness into \nHis marvelous light.\u201d The basis for our being and the foundation of our \nfaith rest solely on the Lord Jesus Christ. We have discovered that \nexcellence in living comes as a result of obeying God\u2019s Word, and \nallowing Jesus Christ to be the focal point of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our People<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color\n and social background are not issues at CBC. Everyone meets at the \nlevel ground of the cross, where the only thing that counts is that we \nare equally sinners and equally sons of God through Jesus Christ. We \nprovide a unique opportunity for ministry for those who are serious \nabout serving the Lord. Serving the Lord \u201cwith gladness\u201d is a special \nblessing at CBC. Opportunities include ushering, working with the \nchildren and youth, choir and special music, church visitation, and \nBible study opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellowship Sunday<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\n last Sunday of  every  month  is  Fellowship  \nSunday  at  CBC.  We  add  a  bit more \nmusic to our service, a time of praise & testimony  and  \ngreat  preaching.  At  the conclusion  of  \nthe   service   we come together for a time of \nfellowship over a great meal served on the grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God’s Message to Us<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • <\/span><\/span>We are all sinners.<\/strong> \u201cFor God all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.\u201d Romans 3:23<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  • Our sin will send us to hell.<\/strong> \u201cFor the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.\u201d Romans 6:23<\/strong> <\/span>\u201cAnd whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.\u201d Revelation 20:15<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  • Jesus died for us.<\/strong> \u201cBut God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.\u201d Romans 5:8<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  • We can be saved!<\/strong> \u201cThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
